REMOTE CONTROLLED CIRCUIT BREAKER

The invention features a means for attaching a handle across a cover of an electrical load center or panel for the common circuit breaker (over-current protection device).  It is a light weight, portable, and fully  adjustable tool.  It is the ultimate Electrician’s helper!  It is a removable device to place across a circuit breaker switch that enables the user to REMOTELY TURN ON or OFF that circuit breaker!  It is powered by 12 Volts (DC) and has the options of a plug for a nearby receptacle to connect to OR a battery pack! It also has high enough torque to switch 2-pole and 3-pole circuit breakers!  It’s simple design allows for total adaptability for fitting to the circuit breaker and is mounted to the surface of the panel cover with magnets.

It is ideal for use when an electrician is repairing or working on a circuit that needs to be turned on or off for checking on repairs, troubleshooting, or testing.

* * * TIME, MONEY, AND WEAR & TEAR ON YOUR BODY * * *

It saves time and physical energy for the electrician in running up and down stairs or back and forth across a building to TURN ON or OFF a CIRCUIT BREAKER.  It also saves wear and tear on the body and joints (especially the knees, as in my own personal situation). By saving time, of course, we are saving money.  It also saves on labor especially for owner/operators or individuals who work alone and do not have a second man to stand at the electrical panel. It eliminates that need for a ‘second’ man.
